You really don’t need to put to much thought in to the fabric choices of this block. Just make sure the background is lighter than the X and the +, really it’s that easy. Badskirt has a great free pattern for this block
I think this whole quilt top took me under 10 hours to make, and that includes pulling the fabrics!
This was so much fun to make, I am sure there will be a second one in my future.
